I just deleted an item from somebody's shop. O.o They had two of the same item in their shop and I bought one of them, and then was messing with the URL. It told me I bought the item, but I didn't have enough neopoints on hand so I don't know how I could have. The item didn't show up in my inventory either

Yeh first thing I thought when I read your post was that someone came along and bought just after
Or the owner took their item out of the shop.

Wierd thing that happened to me... erm well when galleries first came out I put all the items I'd got for my birthday into the gallery, then when I wanted to use my fire petpet paintbrush I took it out but I clicked twice and two came out I'd only been given one for the record.
So I can honestly say I've accidentally duped an item....

That's awesome! That means you could have painted your pet and put one back into your gallery ^^

One time I had an item called a 'new'. I think it was a lutari paw on a stick or something, I had it BEFORE lutari island came out, so I had the only one in existence! I sold it for 99,999 in my shop and the buyer never recieved it. (:
