We all know the pros and cons of both. Which would you rather do?

If you vote, put whether or not the fact that pot is illegal and tobacco is legal when you come of age affected your vote. (US only, I think? tongue.gif)

Neither? I'd puke all over the place if I did... seriously... I have a horrible reaction to cigarette and pot smoke. Even smelling it on people makes me nauseated... sad.gif

Smoking's going to end up globally banned anyway, so it's a rather pointless poll

I'm exactly the same, if I sit next to my dad for too long when he's smoking I start to feel really ill and I have to move away. Apparently that's the normal thing, when my mum had her first fag she felt like crap, but she got used to it, silly girl didn't stop after the first for some reason tongue.gif. I don't plan on ever smoking anything happy.gif.

Ever heard of Lung Cancer? o-o'''' That and it does kill off the atrioles in your lung I think, lack of oxygen to them or something...it can't be the tar that does it because that kills the cillia in your throat. Urhm...>-< Oh I can't remember how, but if you go on google I bet you can find pictures of a smokers lungs and a normal persons lungs, and the smokers are all black at the bottom.

Edit: Eh damn, I should have editted it to the bottom of my last, I hoped it'd just get added =3 Curse you bryan! tongue.gif

Edit Edit: Oh! Is it the actual smoke that hurts your lungs? Why is it I can remember what happens to haemoglobin and not your lungs <-<

Everytime I ask a smoker why they smoke, I get no intelligent answer, which leads me to believe that people still just think it's cool to smoke and tell people you smoke.

Yes, I've tried both cigarettes and weed before.

There is no reason to smoke whatsoever. There are faster methods of suicide, there are better methods of relaxation.

I smoke teh pot occasionally, and I see nothing wrong with it. It's not as abusive to your body as tobacco and not as mind altering as alchohol. And in some cases can be healthy for you.

Quite. If anything pot will be legalized in America soon. It already is in Alaska.

Neither. Have tried it both and ive been addicted to cigarettes for a while but they all SUCK. ^^ all i need is alcohol. no drugs

Smoking will never be globally banned, because its so important for the economy. The taxes over a pack of sigarettes are a gold mine to the government wink.gif

Oh, and both tabacco and pot are legal here in the Netherlands. But thats where we're famous of right? xD

Neither. If I had to chose I'd go with pot. At least you enjoy yourself when you smoke pot, with cigarettes you're doing harmful stuff to your body and just relaxing. Even though I'd never relax because killing myself slowly and expensively doesn't seem that appealing and would make me tense

Smoke does kill your lungs. That is smoke of any kind of inhalation. So even if your house catches on fire and you get enough smoke in your lungs you can get some bad stuff from it.

I voted neither. They are really just not my thing. My mother and dad used to smoke but they have stopped now. The majority of my friends smoke, but it isn't really that big of a deal. I only let two of them smoke in my car, but the windows are always rolled down.

Now weed is illegal in the United States, but I am a firm believer that it is only illegal, because it isn't taxable. In my opinion tobacco is a worst drug than weed any day, under certain circumstances. I also believe that if the US or any other country where to make it legal they would see a decrease in a lot of the criminal activity. For one there would be a lost of people arrested for selling weed, but may be a increase in people getting jumped for weed. Overall I do think the crime would drop though.

People still think it is cool to smoke. kinda reminds me of a famil guy episode about smoking in subliminal messages.

"What is it lassie? Timmie fell down the well, oh no!" some guy comes on the screen for a second " smoke" and just disappears.

I've tried cigarettes. Hated em. BUt i must say I love the smell of the smoke. I gues because my family has a lot of smokers. whenever my grandfather smokes black and milds I just sit around him absorbing all the smoke. I'm probly gonna end up dying from secondhand smoke
