Whats your favorite mob or gangster movie? For mob its goodfellas. I think its a lot better than the overrated godfather movies. They are good movies but they are boring in a lot of parts, especially the first 30 minutes of part 1. I think what made them so good was the theme song. For gang movies its Blood in Blood out. I first watched this like 10 years ago and probably seen it about 50 times. I like it better than goodfellas and its one of the best movies i ever seen. I dont think many people heard about it because its about hispanic gangs. Aroudn the hispanic community though a lot of people know about it. I recommend you see this movie. Its preety long, about 3 hours, but it passes very quickly.

Ive heard about it for a long time but never seen it. Is it any good? Is it on level on movies like a bronx tale or goodfellas

My brother likes goodfellas even more than me. He was sick one time for like 5 days and he saw the movie 3 times everyday! I dont think I could do that with any movie. It has one of the greatest intro to a movie ever

That's a toughie. There are many great mafia related movies. I'll call Goodfellas, though I consider Godfather (One and Two) and Scarface on par with the excellence level.

Exactly why I had such a hard time with it. The writing and filmography on the Godfather was better, but Goodfellas put out amazingly interesting characters. They're all great films though.

Reservoir Dogs is a very good 'gangster' movie, it may not be what you would consider a 'gangster' movie though.
