It takes the animators up to nine months to animate an episode, so...

Agreed. Also, unlike the Simpsons, Futurama has also made me feel sad and nostalgic. (I don't remember the episode that did this to me the most, but it involved his brother and the lucky clover.)

Amagius-
Futurama made me feel sad once too. Does anyone recall the episode about Fry's old dog that was frozen in perfect state? Dude that episode made me almost cry.

I'm glad its coming back. I enjoy Family Guy and South Park too, but both The Simpsons and Futurama have won my heart.

Really? It was sad but I wasn't about to cry.

Futurama is a great TV show to watch, so is Family Guy. They're both funny. What's annoying me lately is the "Peewee Herman" show has been coming on before anything else on adult swim for the last three weeks. dry.gif

I guess it was the flashbacks and the music. I mean, thats sad. The dog was so loyal it stayed there and waited, and waited.

I only enjoy the Peewee show if I'm impaired, if you know what I mean. Not alcohol either.

oh my god yeah, =o im one that laughs at horror movies but that was REALLY REALLY sad, especially the ending, sad.gif

XD I wonder what would happen if the dog was "revived" =o how crazy would that be XD and if the dog was a permanant character, wonder what would happen to bender

Oh yeah, that's one of my favourite episodes. Most certainely touched me, and although it didn't make me cry, it WAS very saddening. His dog was called Seymour, if I remember correctly. Bender really pisses you off in that episode, ai?

Yeah Bender kind of made me mad. He made up for it by jumping in the lava or whatever. Well how would you expect someone to act if their best friend is gonna focus on someone else?

I don't know but Futurama is one of the best comedy shows made. It doesn't focus on just one kind of humour. South Park focuses on the bad side of life, and Family Guy is just random. I LOVE watching Futurama, and I am SO glad they are bringing it back. I have most of the episodes on DVD. I can't say that about any other show, except Smallville because I have all the seasons on DVD except 5.

Anyway, since they are making a Simpson's movie, do you think they will attempt a Futurama? I'm not sure if it would butcher the show or not, but I dunno, couldn't hurt to have a movie.

They'll probably see how it goes on Comedy Central first. If it does well, then I won't be surprised if a movie for it comes out wink.gif
