I feel reall bad right now. I have played soccer since I was like 6 and pretty much played non stop since then. The last few weeks I have been training for high school soccer (I'm a freshman). I only knew two people there and they weren't really my friends. About 2 weeks through training and conditioning I found that it wasn't very fun at all and didn't feel like going anymore, but I still went. For the past week I haven't had soccer because this week is tryouts.

This morning I told my mom that I don't want to play soccer this year and I could tell she really wanted me to keep playing. But she said it's my choice and she's not going to make me. I just feel really bad because I know my parents and family would have loved to see me play high school soccer.

I will most likely tryout next year but I just felt like I need a break this year, since I also play 2 other sports.

Ah, sorry about that Jeff. Maybe you're mom thinks its best for you to do soccer. Doing well in sports help you get into college.

I had something like that a couple of days ago but it was bad on my side. My grandpa from Vietnam came over a month ago and my family is paying about $2500 in flight tickets, gifts, etc. I was suppose to get my driver's license last Friday but we couldn't because my family just couldn't pay an extra $2000 for insurance for six months. My parents felt horrible because I've been looking forward to getting my license for a year now.

Hey sorry to hear that man. There's going to be alot of things in life that you WONT want to do. Me i don't feel like getting up every morning and going to work, especially since i hurt my back and cant stand longer than 1 hour, but i do it anyway because they need me, and i know it will all be for the better later on. I know how you feel, kinda. I was going to play soccer this year for college but I went to the first practice and I almost passed out with a heat stroke or something (the weather here gets over 100...) so I decided not to play. Plus I have classes and work to deal with. I just decided to cancel the soccer this year... and probably for good. I just can't deal with the heat. I'm too much of an indoor nerd-person. Haha.
