You guys...this movie was AWESOME. It TOTALLY exceeded my expectations.

You absolutely MUST go see it.

And keep in mind to look for homages to all the great comedy/crap films of the past. =D

i thought the movie trailer was corny, haven't watched. getting mixed remarks about the movie, i don't think it's worth the money to watch it. The idea of snakes on a plane is kinda dumb actually

I'm planning on giving a standing ovation when Samuel L. Jackson says "Get these motherbarking snakes of my motherbarking plane!"

HOMG. I just got out of the movie.

And you know what? It lived up to the AMAZING hype the internet gave it. It was actually a great movie. Anyone else seen what is sure to be a cult classic?

Good News: SoaP opened Number 1 at the American box office.
Bad News: It's weekend total was $15.3 million

So much for the internet hype...

People were afraid to see it. They thought it would be bad. So instead they went to see Ricky Bobby - Ricky Bobby was actually #1 in the box office.

    Anyway.

    Chaucer loved it. smile.gif

Yeah technically Ricky Bobby was number one, but the thursday night screenings of SoaP got it 1.9 mil which was enough to get it to number 1. They probably won't count Thursday night screenings since it's not part of the weekend.

I think whoever worked on the movie decided to make it look as stupid as possible so people like us would hype it up.

    Apparently it worked.
