No problem

Try and use the Faerie reQuester tool if you can (up top under 'Neopets Tools')

Have you tried switching it to an act=page instead of a component yet? That error still keeps popping up sometimes...

naw havent yet school is so busy now

[Sweeney]

How do I get the alerter to work for me? It never shows up and I don't know how to like... turn it on.

It's always on...

[tastyphoxette]

So what happens then? I've not seen a request show up at all.

I haven't either. I assumed there was going to be some banner at the top of the page or something to tell me when to go help someone. But... I think only noit gets it? I think that's what he was explaining to me anyway.

[Waser Lave]

When you've put up a reQuest, you get an alert which pops up on every page until you accept one of the responses.

Oh, I see.

Well when I try to go to the Faerie Quest tool, all I see is this error:
"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class component_public in /home/faraazs/public_html/forum/sources/components_public/referal.php on line 26"

So I suppose the question is moot for now.

We still have no idea what causes that. It just seems to pop up randomly...

[Oaken]

Would there be any way of getting an alert to show up (if turned on by the user) that tells us when someone has entered a reQuest?

It would allow for much faster answers for people.

Seconded. That's something I'd like to see. Or even like, a button that pops up next to the Neopets Tool bar.

Or something. >.>

I think that was what the plan was actually. Noit just has to find time to do it I think.

[Noitidart]

I did it!! lol oaken you guys aren't getting the my assistant window?

if you want to test go throw in a request. you yourself will get the pop up window too

Any ideas on this error yet Noit?

I'm still waiting for a faerie quest so I can test out the alert system.
