Officials at an elementary school south of Boston have banned kids from playing tag, touch football and any other unsupervised chase game during recess for fear they'll get hurt and hold the school liable.

scholl districts are sending mixed messages to me. i thought they wanted to fight obesity not help it grow. Tag is the best game to play if ur school has no money to buy balls to play with.

Hackeysack is banned from my school because someone got hurt while playing it. They didn't even get hit by the hackeysack - they slipped on a water puddle that happened to be at where they were playing.

i remember i was the best in that shit!!! i would actually jump and dive so the ball wouldnt hit me.. i was the bomb, i wasnt much of a thrower though...and i always caught the balls even caught the balls from the best throwers it was so awsoem, and yea, some days would come home with a big ass scrape on my knee i didnt care though

well they banned it at my elementary school. but i am not sure is they officially banned yet or not.

I was pretty good too. i never dived or jumped. i learned that my classmates suck at aiming so i could just stand there and not get hit or maybe because i am skinny they couldnt hit me

That's kind of out of line... I'm 100% against being gay, but you know... there's such a thing as too far... NOT that I think it's alright for gays to be gay. Really, it's mental bullying... I can see the occasional poke and prod at gays, but not a club


This is stupid... next, kids won't be allowed to sit in desks due to stress on uncomfortable sitting positions, causing strain to the back xD

i laughed out loud at that - wait a second..you live in NYC. your school doesn't permit you to go outside into the streets for lunch? that sucks.
