Okay.
To explain in short xD This week I haven't been online that much. I have alot of school work to do and learn.
On another ip address (my dads) I used another account to try programs on. That one wasn't my main and it was on another ip. Safe.. I thought.
I used a money tree grabber for a few days, that one seem to be safe. After that I tried a dice a roo one, day after I got frozen xD
Now, the problem isn't the programs. I mean, I cheated, I get frozen, that's fair.
But how come my main on another ip address gets frozen? I thought using other ip addresses was "safe"? I didn't made them neofriends with each other, and IF I sended some item over I did it on a way tnt never noticed before.

My friends (at least 6 of them if not more) got frozen for the same reason. But the weird thing is. I never used a program on their account (wich is logic) and I haven't been on theirs in.. forever xD
And some are even frozen who weren't online much and who I didn't spoke to for weeks.

Now tell me, is this really all because I used those programs on a single ip address? I just don't understand blink.gif

When you are caught cheating any account, and I mean ANY account thought to be gaining an advantage off that account that was cheated , even if they have simply logged on at your house or been sent an item from that account, they will be chain frozen.
Had it happen several times now even though I'm legit dry.gif

Btw the only way frozen topics are allowed is if you're providing some kind of warning for others... but since you had a legitimate question... I suppose it's not that important tongue.gif

    ---
Ooohhh I see now..... then it was a big mistake of me to use bilge dice and all that stuff. Because max's multitrainer never caused me problems. I always used them just to get some nps on a normal score and stuff. I also used sockopens nq1 and 2 trainer. Nothing suspicious with that I think..
Well thank you for answering my question biggrin.gif

Good thing I had a legitimate question then cool.gif
Well sorry for the topic anyways xD I just couldn't understand how this could happen! But now I know for next time also.

Thank you Zulfi and Kitsune biggrin.gif

If programmers did their job properly and took special precautions in headers and requests, it's nearly impossible to get frozen, even when you're using 10 or so programs at once.

But yeah, it happens, sadly. It's best to use programs from respected/well known programmers or people who are renowned for putting a LOT of work into their applications.

Cool glad we could help. I doubt that it was program specific. You can be frozen for any program used within a couple weeks I'd say, although I don't know that for sure. So it might not have necessarily been bilge dice, could have been any one you've used.

    ---
Maybe you're right. But from sockopen and Max I used for months. And i'm not saying bilge dice was the one who did it tongue.gif But one of the programs I tried from some persons I didn't know could've done it. But yeah, programs are always risk with neopets. Especially since they get so many ways of getting track to people who use programs.

Thanks for the advise! I will definatly use the ones I know or the ones that are really worth it to try. Or maybe I won't try any of them at all anymore. Just using the 2 programs I used for months, I guess I just got greedy or something xD

The problem with programs today is that you dont know the TRUE freeze rate. People say ABers are low freeze/high freeze. Truth- Its random freeze. Its all in your hands. You decide when to get iced. If you ab nonstop, you are choosing to get iced fast. If you are ABing slow, covering your ass, you will do fine.

Some programs ARE detectable. These are the 1s you should watch out for. If you have a question on freeze rates or anything, ask the maker of the program.

Did you get iced because of using programs on a different IP? Probally. TNT logs all IPs that go into ones account. If anything bad happens on either IP, the account is then iced if they see it.

Not too certain on that one? Try log on your main and see what the reason was for being banned.

I did that right after I saw I was frozen. I was frozen because I cheated with a downloadable program.

I myself got iced on my main for using abers. Now i had not used and aber not once on this account but had used on 2 other accounts. One of these accounts was also iced along with main. Can tnt trace items easily?? if so transfering one ur ab account to main is then risky

They chain-ice my account like that, too. I had logged in to one account only when I lived in China, then when I went back to England, logged on another account from totally different IPs and computers, I got frozen on both. But then I moved again, and haven't been frozen since. I think the neopets team was stalking my IP or something. It's scary, how much they know about you...

what you call scary,i call "cookie"
remember,if you wanne avoid to get frozen, logout, clean cookies,(if you plan to use the same laptop/pc)change ip
login on another account, but never forget to clear cookies, even if you pressed logout, doesnt mean all cookies r deleted,i use a tool called "absylon shredder"
its pretty usefull to clear cookies n such, (also nice to delete any progs ,any files, what never be able to restore, 7times overwrite,or even 35times,never restoreable,by anyone)

it takes 1 minut,to clean the cookies, and is never be wrong,
BUT,it wont avoid any acc frozen,it just lower the risk, since the tracking down, with cookies,is pretty simple.

    just my 2 cents.

/edit: forgot to say, dont use the refering links,or its pretty easy to catch you up,if you refer to a cheating account.(that r basics, but some ppl forget that)

You think that's scary, look into just how much you agree to let GameGuard (Anti-hacking client for some games) invade your comp. Read it's logfile, and there's a whole host of info it can send back to it's host game.
