My co-workers told me about this site and I figured I'd share it with others tongue.gif I don't know how many of you buy products online, but if you do it could potentially save you some money.

Woot.com does anything from selling $3000 HDTV's for $1600, to selling $150 internal hard drives for $50, but there's one catch: They only sell one item per day, you never know what it's going to be, and when it's sold out they aren't getting any more!

I haven't had a chance to buy anything I wanted from there yet, but I've been visiting every day waiting for something decent biggrin.gif

I missed the $50 250GB hard drive though sad.gif

Discuss the awesomeness of woot.com

By the way, the item on today is kind of lame, a 12-volt battery charger. But if you look up the price on jcwhitney.com it's $39.99. Woot is selling it for $12.99. These are the kind of things they do everyday, and often times it's with cool stuff tongue.gif

Well, I personally can't speak for their reliability but a guy I know at work ordered something from there and there were no problems.

I think it's 12am, but I don't know what timezones 12am. I'm sure it says somewhere. On a normal day there's only one item and once it sells out, they don't sell anything else the rest of the day.

However, sometimes they have special "Woot-offs" (also unannounced) where they'll continuously sell different items at crazy prices. When one item sells out, another takes its place. I've only witnessed one woot-off though. It's where I saw the $50 250gb hard drive.
