Here is the problem:
In Firefox, when I copy a chunk of text using Ctrl+C and try to paste it anywhere else, nothing gets copied on the first try. If I go back and press Ctrl+C again, then it will copy it to the clipboard and allow me to paste it somewhere else. This happens extremely frequently, and I'm not sure what the cause is. I'm pretty sure that it's the clipboard that's causing me trouble because copy-pasting doesn't work in Firefox, Microsoft Word, and all of the applications I use.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Are you sure that you completely pressed the ctrl + c simultaneously I have in the past not and it drove me nuts just pound the keys a little harder or use your mouse.

Hmm.. that may be the reason. I'll test it out and see how it goes.

try highlighting the chunk of words then right click --> copy..go to the other web..then paste...
