I've recently gotten into a new style of music... acoustic! And it just so happened that while I was at a show a guy that had just recorded his CD was there, and my friend bought it. I went to the same venue again last night after listening to the CD and he was there again. My friend and I hung out with him, he's a really cool guy.

(I know, it's weird.. I normally listen to grindcore/metal but acoustic is a nice break from that shit )

PS) You should also try Seth Lakeman. And Kate Rusby. And Damien Rice. And Nickle Creek (lo-fi acoustic). And Mutual Admiration Society (altoght Sake of the World sucks). And Ben Folds (upbeat piano acoustic). And Show of Hands (really folkish with lots-o-violins).

i've never heard of him. SHAME ON ME. he's good stuff.

i still think that when it comes to acoustic, the scene aesthetic is my favorite, though. they make me happy. it's one of the few things i'll belt out in front of people.
