Not really lazy, it is just that since she lives a mile away she is too far away to just walk to places with. Where I live is like the center of town, so I can get to places quicker, and I know she likes to shop.

Well, does she live near any decent areas for dining or shopping? If you go south-west from where I am, there is nothing but gas-stations, houses, and highways.

It isn't the location FROM ME, it is the location from where she lives. Plus I much prefer taking my car since I wouldn't want to waste her time. If anything, walks would be saved for just plain romantic walks.

yeah, she lives in the middle of everything - note that i do live in the city and she lives in the most populated part of the upper east side. i guess that's a plus, she lives a block away from anything that is really important .
