Well like I said. I dont really have all the details worked out. So I could go there in a few years, or even this year. I could do school over there, or school over here. One of the main reasons is to support my friend though, I have a lot of faith in him. But it really depends on my schooling. Mainly a fresh start though.

Just deal with your problems, you're just looking for an easy way out. That's why you even consider this.
Stay where you are and skool there.

    I don't see how that isn't
When you most likely won't be going to skool to keep that up.

First off....no matter what how good you think your friend is, he's not going to make it by copying Hendrix stuff. He's needs to be ORIGINAL! And If your only going to support him, it makes it look like he's bumming off of you, since he couldn't do it alone. I agree about getting your GED. If your friend is that serious about music, he can wait it out a few years, get better, finish school, and THEN head to California.

I know that.. Dont you think as long as he's been involved with music he'd know that? >_> I said hes good at replicating it so people get a general idea of how good he is. I never said I was gonna be supporting both of us. Of course he is gonna share the wages.

One sec trixx, let me upload the song. And Ocelot, I'll probably get internet if it does happen. It might take a while, but I'll get it done somehow.

Btw I owe a big thanks to Cody. I really appreciate you listening/talking to me, and sharing your thoughts.

Here is one of his songs

Its kind of slow in the beginning.. I dont really like the song in general but thats just me. Listen more to the guitar. And be sure to listen to the whole thing, since it gets better near the end.

what the hell is the problem with where you live right now anyways? move out, get your own place, but imo i dont see a point in going to california. get his myspace really popular and if he achieves a fanbase a scout will find him. this guy i know's job is basically just browsing on myspace investigating bands and hearing them - then when he finds someone good someone goes over to go see how they sound live.

p.s, why california anyways? the glam metal scene ended about 15 years ago tongue.gif

Nox, because, like I said, I want a fresh start where I dont know anyone. And even if I wanted to, my only option here, is private school.

Listening to his song now, he doesn't sound bad at all, but this style music isn't very big at the moment... I must admit, he has some pretty sick guitar skills tongue.gif

I dont really have any strong advice for you except that have some type of education is pretty much crucial. If your going to go to school there, and you really believe that its in your futures best interest, then go for it. But if your going to go out there and drop out or something, then you might as well stay here and at least have the pressure from your mom/family to do good in the private school.
Good luck either way though smile.gif
