Well, because my teacher is mean and is making me do this project, I need some help:

Everyone in my film studies class had to pick an actor, director or genre of film to study and give a presentation on about their "impact" on Hollywood. And I picked Keira Knightley as a star on the rise. The main portion of the project is basically to show a bunch of different film clips with your projecting and explaining the actor's or whatever main techniques and themes of film.

I really couldn't think of anything else besides showing a bunch of different clips showing her versatility as an actor, and her ability to play a many different characters. But I couldn't really think of anything besides that.

Help? =3

No offense, but I would not choose Keira Knightley. As an aspiring film and film acting major, you have to look particularly at whether an actor is good at adapting to a character or adapting a character to themselves. With many of Ms. Knightley's roles she changes her character into herself, and doesn't actually vary between the pieces she does.

    *waits for Eeyore to appear*

She pretty much idolizes her, so I'd talk to her if you want to know about Keira Knightly.

Yup I agree with Urban, Her roles are all very similar, the only different one I've ever seen her do is a film documentry she took part in the was about drug abuse, where she played a pregnant teen with a crack addiction!

I think a much better choice for that is Johnny Depp because he adapts much better to his roles than Kiera Knightly as she has a tendency to play generally the same type every time. Typecasted, basically.

Anyways, some movies you'd probably want with her in them are Bend it Like Beckham (movie that started her fame, really) and of course PoTC. Perhaps Pride and Preduduce. But while she's pretty again, she's usually a pretty girl who is trying to break the stereotypes of a woman. All movies she's in that's the jist of her role. She's great at it, of course but again... no versitility.

Although she is very pretty, I thought they made her look very plain in P&P Johnny Depp would be abrilliant choice though, I agree smile.gif
