I dunno.. I don't mind spending money on a girlfriend really. I remember my first one in 7th grade rofl. I spent a lot of money on her Of course it was a lot to me, since I was in 7th grade... But holding hands with a girl is over rated.. Especially since my hand sweats a lot. Its kind of embaressing

haha.. I've had my fun with the opposite sex.. I'm pretty much retiring as a fisherman, and leaving the sea to the other guys... if that killer whale jumps on my yacht, I'm not going to throw her back in the water.. but I'm done looking. I had a girlfriend, and we were together for almost 2 years. Then she joined the Marines, and became a giant bitch. She broke up me with incredibly abrubtly via IM, then not even a week later is dating someone else. Whatever. I hope shes's happy.

Actually I agree, holding hands is really quite silly. Why hold hands when you can snuggle? That's always much more fun. Holding hands in my opinion especially in school hallways or whatever I have noticed is a cheesy middle school or high school way to show off. "OMG OMG I HAVE A BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND TEEHEEHEE!!!" The best things to do is what you do in private, just like... sitting at home and watching a dvd while snuggling each other or something. Enjoying a private dinner, whatever. Holding hands is absolutely nothing.

Mmm I must disagree with Tetiel as well on the holding hands thing I quite like holding hands in public or not in public. It's just nice, dunno why.

I'm quite sad now... I won't be seeing John again till Christmas day then it'll be another 2 weeks, then a further 2 weeks before we're living together again I'm lonely

Back in the summer, me and one of my really good friends started dating, and holding hand was great... just to know that she was right there, and that she was holding my hand too. But it's nothing to go all get-a-girl-friend-crazy about... I mean, it's just nice to have it done, I wouldn't go out and get a girlfriend, just to do that.

I think its better if its in private, especially if you just recently become an item, people would like ask you over and over again about your relationship but its a plus for attention whores

and snuggling > holding hands it can also lead for a more sensual oppurtunities *cough*
