Okay, so basically, all I see that you've done is slapped mediocre text on a wallpaper stock, added a few sparkle brushes, and unless you've started making your own C4D, you've blended someone elses onto a piece.

I really don't see what everyone is oohing and ahhing about. Xiphos has done great work, very, very good work, but there has been barely ANYTHING done here, and I really don't see how you can call it yours.

Xiphos has ALWAYS made his own C4Ds AND Brushes.
He just mainly uses a stock as a base, you may call it.

I have that exact sparkle brush on my computer.
And if Xiphos did make his own C4D then he can prove it by posting it.

Like Xiphos said. If he gets good comments, he is happy, if he doesn't, he tries harder. That's the style of the signature, if you don't like it, don't have a hissy fit.

Ok, honestly people stop smacking Urban around and bitching. Xiphos, you didn't do all that much work, just a few touch-ups but none the less it is a great signature!
You may remember a while back when I posted my Fallout signature, you all asked me for the original wallpaper. I posted it. EVERYONE started nailing and criticizing me that I didn't do much besides manipulate the lighting, coloring, and focus and added some text. I was fine with that because I just wanted to encapsulate the feeling that I felt with the wallpaper with the same method that I saw. Some people didn't appreciate it. Just because Xiphos has talent, you shouldn't be hammering Urban for making a justified call, since other people like me have been criticized for the exact same thing.
Kamal, if I remember correctly you were one of the first people to complain about my signature.

Listen, the only problem with you is that your pampered ass is so used to receiving comments like Dagron's after you take other peoples' work and call it your own that you just expect to be able to get away with it every time. And you expect to even be considered for graphics leader? I have no problems with C4D in signatures as long as you just don't do a random search on DeviantArt and take someone else's hard work and slap it on your signature and say, "Look guys, I made this!" Personally, if someone ever did that to a render I had made, I would flip a shit, and I'm sure if these people knew what you did they would too.

As for what you said, you know, about me not being the law, well I have some news for you. Ripping, also known as plagiarism, is against the law of the United States of America, United Kingdom, and I'm fairly sure it's against the law in most other countries too, so I may not be the law, but you can't exactly argue against the United States Government, now can you?

This is by far the first "negative" criticism you've openly received in a while, and as for me, I take criticism all the time, even harsh criticism that I don't like, but I try to understand what they say even if I do think it's complete bullshit.

Okay, now I "can be done here," as you said, because hopefully now you understand the full nature of what you've done.

That green "brushing" as you put it, still looks like C4D to me, and if it isn't, well so you brushed minimally.

The green, in that image quoted does look like c4d to me. Especially above the head.

and for you people here who beleive this sig has nothign done to it, you might be right

but it still looks good doesnt it? People commonly mistake a sig for being bad just because their was not much done to it, wrong again. If the sig looks good then it is good, and if you still think nothing is done to it, you go try to duplicate it lets see how it turns out.

the green brushing IS brushing, and if it looks different so be it. your opinion of brushing minimally means nothing to me because i go by quality not quantity.

for your information urban. im not stealing something copywrited and calling it my own, im not going to go to jail for using a lil c4d in my work, there is nothing wrong with doing it, and just because you claim you dont use c4d doesnt mean other people arent allowed to. and to let you know plagiarism is taking somebody elses work and calling it your own. if you look at my sig, somebody else didnt make it, i did, if the green c4d is such a problem for you i took it out, where is your so called plagiarism now?

and just so you know this isnt by far the first open negative criticsm ive had in a while. negative criticsm isnt somehting your supposed to get on a regular basis like water. its something you want to avoid like a bee sting. in my whole history of codex ive been criticised, (sorry to bring this up stephy but i had to, forgive me) tet and brkn pheonix accused me of not doing anywork not too long ago, and i left codex a while because of it, the person who got me to come back was blazing dragon and i thank him, he told me that its not how much you do, its the overall outcome. and everyone seems to understand that but you. i know im not the most liked guy around but please poeple cut me a lil slack, for the first time in a while i thought i was on good terms with everyone, obviously not

i did not do anything wrong urban, so i need not understand. YOU need to understand what you have done, you caused a whole show of nothing. if your going to accuse sombody of ripping then for christ sake have some proof. without proof your argument is invalid. when xeno accused GM of ripping he had mountains of evidence. GM adimitted that he ripped, and infact it shows he did, his work was completly somebody elses. Urban, you accrused me of ripping which i did not do with no evidence what so ever, you called my work mediocre above, you tried to justify yourself on msn, and you tried to justify it here. well im sorry buddy but YOUR WRONG. i did not rip, using a lil c4d is not against the law and there is nothing wrong with it. and if you guys wanna know where i get c4d from it sure as hell isnt deviant art. its http://www.e-wallpapers.de . they have c4d wallpapers FOR DOWNLOAD, they are used as wallpapers for your desktop computer, me using c4d from a wallpaper site is the same as me using the wallpaper from the gunz site. i guess i must be ripping that to rite?

if people think i should be gfx leader, well im all for it, ive been with the gfx team for a long time and i know alot about gfx, i dont have any problems with anyone, even you after all this. the fact that your glad your better off without people shows how arrogant you are urban. trust me i can tell you from experience that being coki and a "know it all" isnt the best way to make a good impression on poeple here.


i apoplogize to everyone for all of this happeneing. on behalf of myself please people dont change your views of my attitude because of some of the language i used in this forum, i was really upset. being called a ripper isnt the happiest thing, thnx for everyone who stood up for me. i really appreciate it.
