Well, I've just got my aquarium set up and healthy with one fish and a couple snails roaming around. It's completely planeted and looks pretty good. Now I've just put two very nice fish on hold and I'm buying them on probably wednesday... How much do they cost you ask? 70$ and 80$ a fish. They are really neat discus fish that are medium size and VERY colorful.

I've asked myself maybe I shouldn't blow so much money on stuff I don't really need but I do anyways. I don't really have many bills to pay but still, probably should be saving for christmas. I love blowing tonnes for presents for everyone.

Anyone else do the same as me or am I the only fish in the water? tongue.gif

Haha tongue.gif. I used to be brill with money but just recently clothes shopping has been too tempting >_<. I'm learning to control myself now . Distinct lack of social life is helping that one -right- along rolleyes.gif. ...I still want to get £100 out of my bapk and buy a DS lite though =3.

Ohh awesome, I think when it comes to pets, it's ok to spend a bit much (as long as you're not just buying a bit of paper for pedigree or w/e).
I used to have a huge aquarium. About a metre wide, deep and long. Had about 20 fish, I loved it.
Also had an avery with about 10 birds. But I gave them all up when I went to Uni.

Ah that sucks that you had to give them up. I love my aquarium. It's like an underwater world that's neat to look at. Though when I bought a fish from wal-mart it brought in a disease and wiped out all of my fish... sad.gif All 13 of them. Though they were good enough to give me my money back even for the fish that I didn't buy from them.

But funny this is I'm spending now more on one fish than I did on my other 13. Hah, good spending, eh? But it's going to be awsome, it's a Tangerine Dream Discus and a Green something Discus, too. So I'm excited. biggrin.gif

Man two years ago I bought a salt water fish tank. It went from having a couple cool looking fish to buying coral, live rocks, and many other salt water living creatures. In about 8 months I ended up spending over 3200 on the stupid fish tank. I didn't even realise I had spent that much until I was looking at my checkbook on day and was like holy shit. Good luck with your aquarium they are fun to watch and even more fun to expand just be very careful - it gets addicting.
