I'm grounded because I got a fucking "B" in health. I swear, anything that isn't a fucking "A" is a failing grade to my parents. sorry.gif I don't know how long I'll be grounded though so I want a HUGE party when I come back, got it? biggrin.gif

Oops,I posted this in the wrong spot. Sorry. Wrong button. biggrin.gif

    My parents don't care.
If I got an "F" they'd just tell me that maybe I need to try harder.

I've just deafened out my parents bitching about my grades. I get so much of it even when they are decent-70s, so I just nod and say yeah whenever they do it.

My parents are the same. They are very concerned about my grade before my 10th grade, but after i went into college , everything changed and they told me, you study as you wish. Guess they're trying to say, you are now a grown up, make your choice whether you wanna continue studying or not. However i looked up to my brother who is a student who always scored excellent grade, and thus i managed to pass my final year exams with mostly Bs and getting into top 8% of m course smile.gif

As far as I'm concerned, anything below an A on a test is a fail.
I couldn't give two turds about continuous assessment grades though.

Never, ever slept through your exams. I had a stomachache beforehand. so meh. tongue.gif

Its not entirely their fault actually, they want the best out of their child, want you want it too if you have a child?
Besides he might be in 7th grade or lower, that was the time that my parents expect me to get all A's or else..
And also u might wanna put some the blame of the government too, since they are always promoting eugenics. dry.gif

Same, really. Just have high expectations of myself. I failed my French coursework though, in my eyes. B just isn't acceptable. Sucks, because I don't think my teacher will allow me to re-draft it. Anyone know the rules on GSCE coursework, if she's just being a bitch and not allowing me my rights. Because for other subjects, I simply have deadlines (like next year) and I can improve my work as much as I like before-hand.

A final marked submission cannot be redone, no, Zulf sad.gif

You can fiddle with it according to teacher advice as long as you like, but once it's marked? Consider it gone.

Heh, I steadily lowered my parents standards as time went on. It used to be anything below a B got me grounded.

By the time highschool was over with, as long as I wasn't failing, I was good tongue.gif
