So am I right to assume this is the day that people are flipping out over Christmas coming and shopping and whorshipping and doing whatever the hell people who celebrate Chrismas do?
I wouldn't know.
I'm too much of a lazy ass to go look outside. blink.gif

    Wow, laptops for 300 bucks?
If they were 200 it might be worth leaving the house.

But honestly, I thought "Black Friday" was just a myth type thing.

So why does everyone go shopping, when they already know BEFORE THEY LEAVE that the lines are going to be so bad and that they won't have anything but leftovers from every store in the city.

    Common.... sense?
    {I have a friend leaving to go shopping at 3 in the morning. X_X}

the lines start at like 1-2am in the morning if you get there then you're good tongue.gif

its just shops are trying to clear inventory and all so they mark things to like manufacturer prices pretty much

I really dont kno why they dont just hold on to it and make lots of money off of it rather then very lil lol

    Hmm..
Sounds like one of those days where you go to the mall and you're waiting in line for hours just hoping that two more customers would get in a fight and get taken away so you can go faster.

Amazon.com. I was actually one hour late. dry.gif I thought there was a four hour difference but it turned out to be three hours between the east to the west coast. I read up on what happened that hour and only people with T1 connections got through, that's how laggy the entire server was. One guy apparently bought three 360's. I was hoping to resell mine if I did get to buy one.

As for black friday, my mom was going to go buy some stuff but I woke up and she was still in bed. Best Buy was having a great deal on a eMachine, specs were pretty good.

My Nanny (Grandma) got up at 4 in the morning to go shopping at 5. I told her she was sick, she agreed.

Haha, I've never really seen a purpose in it.
    The lines are long.
    The crowds are huge.
    Near everything is sold out.
    You don't save /that/ much.
But hey, it's good for the economy?

I'd be one of those people who were on line since 4 AM.

    Best Buy
    Circuit City
    Pc Richards
    Comp USA
    Target

    Stores I covered

The laptops were gone in 10-15 minutes.
