yeah i heard about this on the news. i ask my science teacher how a microwave heats things up. he said it heats the inside first. Sort of disgusting once u think about it with a baby in the microwave

I thought that the waters molecules moved faster, bounced off each other, rubbing sort of and caused internal heat..

basicly it does but it is with all molecules i think.

Yeah it does go from the inside first because when I heat a bowl of something the stuff around the walls of the bowl is still cold....

And a doctor on the Nancy Grace show said that it only took (if she really did put the kid in a microwave) mere seconds for death to occur. Seconds. Wow.

Well.... you never really see any really happy, positive stories in the news.

That is, only if some kidnapped person or hostage was found and//or returned home....

not so mythy as you might think. we were dicuessing in my marketing class today, actually yesterday by 21 minutes, about warning labels. and there are warning labels on microwaves warning to not attempt to dry off small animals in the microwave, because people have tried it before

Stories that don't involve babies being microwaved.

It's exactly what pisses me off. Where are the inspirational stories? Where are the stories that make you think? Where are the stories that bring light to corruption? Where are the stories that give you advice?
You only see news stories like these once in a blue moon.

Why is this story even worth reporting? Maybe they should report on every murder, every rape, every sick and vile act that happens. CNN has dissapointed me.

Those stories are reported only seldom these stories/ reports often draw less viewers. Rape/ crime stories are often reported as they grabbed the viewers' attention also instantly and many would be interested to find out why. Reports on crime often give details of the criminal's whereabouts during the crime with diagrams and explanations and reporters will follow the trial faithfully to bring news to viewers and readers. Although it is understandable that the job of the news is to inform and educate public to be more vigilant, it does not mean the public would require the minute details of what the criminal has done to prevent it from happening again. Publicising such details does not help the public in any way but to stir gossip and also makes it harder for the criminal to integrate back into the society after he has served time.
