Here is a new riddle:

A man wants to go to Amsterdam, he comes to a point that he has to choose if he has to go to the left or to the right.
He doesn't know which road goes to Amsterdam.
At that point lives two brothers.
He knows one brother always lies and that the other will always tell the truth, but the man doesn't know which one is the liar.
He may ask one question to both brothers. (the same question to each) and then he will know which way he has to take.
Which question does he ask?

The question has to be about which way to go?

Can someone please help me with this one, I am stumped and figured someone in here would surely know!

Thank you and I hope this is Ok to be in this area to post it?

    Hm.
    It could be like...

"Which way did I come from, and which way to amsterdam?"
The one that is right about the way they came from, is the truth..
That could be one, or two questions...

    I am doing great!

I am getting ready for Christmas and still hitting n-pet's every day. We are having a riddle contest to win a baby paint brush and I am not too good at them, so thought I would come over to where there is alot of brain power!

How have you been? I see alot of the oldies are still here. That is so awesome.

    Ask:
    Is he your brother?

If "No" then ask the other
    Which way to Amsterdam?

If "Yes" then ask the other
Which way will take me away from Amsterdam xD

Wouldnt work because of the truth teller. He would say "My twin would say to go down the *insert wrong path here*" You would have to go the OPPOSITE way of their answers. Because the truth teller would say the pathway which the liar would say. The liar will lie about what his brother would say and still use his lie.

Frizzle is not here any more, he asked to be banned for the next, like, 200+ years 1we8.gif

    "What would your brother say?"

For all intents and purposes, the left path is correct. The truthteller would say right because that is what his brother would say, and the liar would say right, because he is lying about what his brother would say smile.gif Did someone already suggest this and it wouldn't work? It made so much sense in my head tongue.gif

Makes sense in mine too tongue.gif I barely beat you to it. Although it just doesnt seem to work as fluently as your's. Maybe if I typed up my own question instead of building off of Sean's xD

Or more refined, 'What path would your brother tell me to take?"

The truthful brother would tell you the wrong path. The false brother would say the same because its the opposite of what his brother would say.

Stryyp, I think you may have it!

Should I use it as my answer. I only get one answer I think. Hahaha

I got 1/2 of the first riddle right and flopped on the last one, which had to do with number's. I know you all could have gotten that one right for sure, but not me, as I am still an Older *cough, cough* player.

Sorry to hear about Frizzle, I just wanted to send him a Christmas card.

And Hello Shadow, been along time, Dude~Hope your doing great!

Hawk, I think I will just send her both of the answers and she will hopefully say I am correct!

I have 7 more riddles to go. Wish me luck and I will be back, most likely tomorrow.

Thank you guy's for the help...I hope I win.
