Has anyone seen it?

Has anyone seen it that has also read the books? They skipped so much, and it was just annoying and tacky.

Don't waste your money if you haven't seen it.

I would have liked to see it, but I've read so many bad reviews, and the people of codex dont seam to like. So the books are worth a read? I never read, only read harry potter (not over and over) and this kiefer sutherland biography.

Movie looks like shit. Ever since the first time I saw the trailer, it struck me as a shitty clone of LoTR. Sure, apparently the storyline is very different, but that's the feel I got from it.

I stoped the book because I was going to read a school book X.x but I was like on pg 100+ o.ô
Lucky of mine, there movies come first, so I think i'll always know if a movie is good or bad XDD
But i'll see the movie tought, everytime people say that a movie sux we go with no hope, so the movie always go better, if we go thinking the moviue is the best movie ever we seeit and somethimes don't make we happy because wasn't all that action or storyline that was tough, so it make we wait for something better...Hum...o.O

It's not that bad if you don't compare it to the book. I found it horrible when I did... It skipped sooo many things and it did some things wrong.

But without the book to compare it to it might be better not to compare it together.

meh, i wouldnt watch it unless i got paid tongue.gif

i read like 20 pages of the book, i faked read the rest and people here in codex gave me a nice summary to make a book report on it xD

I would watch it if I got paid.

I read 4 pages into the book, took what my friends told me, and used the back to write a book share/report/5 minute presentation.
    You got pwn't. tongue.gif

I liked the books. Even though people say the movie wasn't very good, I'll probably still end up seeing it just to see what it's like wink.gif

What's with the dragon, it grows up darn too fast and starts breathing fire out of nowhere. I don't like being harsh but could someone answer these questions?

The paperback version of eragon has clips from the movie in the center. Almost all of the images they show in there arent in the freakin movie. Wait till the DVD comes out maybe it will have an extended version that might be better. They could have easily made that movie 3 hours but they decided to go with 90 min WTF!

    from what I've heard...
it was good if you haven't read the book
it was bad if you have read the book
which means, I'm definently not watching it ;-)

Well don't expect a 600 page book to be fully covered in a movie. LOTR actually skipped a shitload of detail too but it still was an amazing movie. Same with Memoirs of a Geisha.

And LotR was still an extremely long movie.

I was actually looking forward to seeing this movie, guess I'll read the book instead =)
