How do all of you guys feel about the nastiest store "Walmart".

The one in our town, is really bad, theres always trashy people and girls who look like prostitutes smoking 3 cigarettes at once out in the front. Some of them even have the "I work at walmart" apron.

One of the grossest things I have seen, had to have been some older man, who hadnt shaved in days, comes in the electronics section with one of those shirts (not really a shirt, have no sleves and shows the chest when unbuttoned) and no undershirt, also looking like he hadnt showered in days. ANYWAY, he comes in near the electronics finding someone who worked their asking where they keep their cigarattes. I couldnt stand it...It was gross..

anyway...

Discuss Walmart experiences and how Simon is a legend who made this up

Walmart is downright disgusting, go to Target, their prices are only like .02 dollars more, or if your a Verizon employee .02 cents more 1we8.gif

Well, for most things at least. Some times Walmart wins by more, but you can probably find a better price somewhere else.

I hate WalMart, I am glad they are building a Target next door. In some cases their selection is better, but it is few and far between when Target wouldn't have it. "Oh no, Target doesn't have my electronic wax shaver needle-nose plier flashlight kit! Guess I gotta go to WalMart sad.gif)

Walmarts are fine. They sell pretty cheap stuff except they're just putting way too many people out of business. It's hard to compete.

But Sainburys has convenient stickers on all their products, telling you how good they are for you! It's not as if I couldn't work it out for myself, but damn, it's cool. biggrin.gif

We don't have an Aldi, Morrissons or an Asda anyway near us. And as for adverts, Jamie Oliver pisses me off, so I'd have to disagree with you there but M&S do the best food adverts ever...

At the moment we have one Super Walmart in my city but its always packed so they built another Super one and a Sams club in a part of the city that was dyeing. People love Walmart because its a one stop shop and they claim to have low prices. Drugs, food, garden, appliances, electronics, building material, and the list goes on! Prices really are not that low! I personally love Target! Great stuff and semi low prices. Many people hate Walmart because it takes away from smaller businesses. I do believe on the other hand that the new one in my city will rejuvenate that part of the local business.
