The zune is literally only suitiable for clowns and wizards its just too big for comfort... Im a lover of the ipod, for no real reason other than the fact its the most widely used.. iTunes is brilliant I hated windows media player from the start so itunes was like the best thing ever since sliced bread. The music quality is very very good with it, and if our abit of a tech freak like myself you will also know that you can load FLAC files straight onto your iPod which is why I would say the ipod is the better option..
Also there returns policy is the best, if your headphones break within the year take them back to the shop with your ipod, and they will replace the heaadphones, also if you want to upgrade at a later point from your 30gb to an 80gb you only have to pay the difference which means you can upgrade it whenever you want xD
The downfall I suppose is the fact you cant load all move types onto it and you have to fiddle about with it to get it working, I dont use my ipod to watch movies on so it doesnt make a difference to me
