Ok so my strange dream goes like this:

A spy infiltrates a Chinese Military Base located in Los Angeles and sets a nuclear bomb to detonate. I have to fly a chinese general to Canada, along with some girl, some other guy, and a guy with hooves to get them away from the nuke. The plane is an old plane, and there is nothing but a gauge for oil, a radio without the ability to set frequency, and the simple airplane controls. As we take off I barely make it, the chinese general tells me how to fly it. I fly to Canada using some radar and I follow a #2 interstate highway north. I wonder that since we don't have a way to communicate with the Canadian airport, how are we going to land and at the same time I'm afraid they might shoot us down since they have no communication with us.
This is where the dream ends.

Usually when im having a trippy dream I can only remember it like when im in the middle of still sleeping and waking up and then the memories usually vanish. Is that normal?

Yeah, I knew it was Los Angeles because we flew over the LA River (water canals), and I almost crashed into a energy pole tower thing.
I also remember fighting people on the way to the plane lol. The picture was clear but dont think I used any of my senses other than sight.

I was not smoking anything. I possibly had a fever though since I'm sick.

Funny thing is as I was falling asleep yesterday I remmeber coming up with crazy ideas and thinking they would make me rich, too bad I don't remmeber them now and I didn't write them down. I probably did have a fever.

Yea fevers can make you do crazy things man. One time i was trying to fall asleep with a fever and thought i was an octopus and if i spread myself across the bed in the right way that i could use my tenticles to swallow it.

Did you watch/listen to anything that is anything like your dream prior to falling asleep? I for one tend to dream of things I have just recently processed. The other night I fell asleep a few minutes after I started watching Platoon and right before I drifted off, I saw one of the guys kill a snake with a machete. My dream was I was stuck on a pirate ship/bus thing in a wheat field with several other people and a giant snake was out there. One of us tried escaping and got eaten I end up throwing a ham out there to distract the snake and then run into my house, get a machete and when I get back to the Black Transit Vehicle everyone is dressed as pilgrims and have gone crazy. They are up on deck at the steering wheel saying "IF WE ARE GOING DOWN THAT F#@$ING SNAKE IS GOING DOWN WITH US!" and they tip the boat over. I run back inside and when the snake pokes its head through the door I chop it off.

I just noticed about "Black Transit Vehicle" and how that could be misinterpreted It is a pirate ship bus, and the first pirate ship that comes to mind is the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean. Black Pearl + Bus = Black Transit Vehicle. See, I am not a racist

I hate fevers, because that is the only time I lose control in my dreams

Oh and I used to have a formula that worked for me. It was a set number of hours before I went to bed. The theme of my dream would be that.

i.e The rule would be 10 hours: Say at 2pm you watched Mythbusters.....then you went to bed at midnight. You would dream of mythbusting etc.

I then watched my funeral.

(This was all from my eyes, but I was dead).

Eventually I witnessed my body from the outside and came to the conclusion that I freed myself from my physical form. Yes, my dream tops yours.

Not as unsettling as the time I was in a car crash and saw my mangled corpse after it happened and woke up with a bloody nose. I've always believed in a connection between dreams in real life. I look young in my dreams, so I assume, if there is a connection, I'm going to die at a young age.

I was having an odd dream last night, but I never remember them a couple seconds after I wake up, it's always just the lingering feelings of what the dream was like. (like JEEZE, that was one FUCKED UP DREAM!) XD

I do remember that there were all these rivers and waterfall type things. It's raining outside.

Well... I dreamt I was running from a big guy with a screwdriver who was chasing me, but he was in front of me. Running. Away from me, but still chasing me. He knocked over a stand of paint buckets, and I was like "that'll slow him down" and he kept running, and so I jumped off the wharf, and saw my mom, swimming in the water, and was all like "wtf you doin here?" and she was like and I was like "help me get out! the guy is chasing me! and so I went to climb out of the water, and my mom yanked me back down, and stood on my shoulders and I was like "wtf you doing?" and then she let me up, and then I woke up

i had a series of dreams, lasted a full week or so, that like all this shit was taking over our planet.. like shooting down building and all that, and it would continue each night from the EXACT SAME SPOT... I hated it since i considered it a nightmare... and I had another dream where i fell down this green tube into some shit, and some people took me, through me in this room that filled up with water, and i suffocated, but through the whole dream, like after I died, same thing would happen again, same EXACT thing over and over

LOL to the octopus + fever one. That kinda happened to me after I got my wisdom teeth removed. For probably three hours after the surgery, I was fighting sleep, because thats how I am. I fought it, and fought it, and fought it. As a result, I actually managed to keep form falling asleeP, BUT I had at leasdt 50 little mini dreams. I couldn't focus on anything. Here is the weirdest part. I lost track of little chunks of time immediately after the surgery. I remember being smothered, by some large woman, to the "recovery room" where I was supposed to be holding an ice pack on my face. I don't really remember being in that room except for twice when I snapped back (i suppose from sleep) only to realize that the hand holding the ice pack had drifted away from my face. I was apparently in there for 15 minutes, but as far as I'm concerned, it wasn't more than 30 seconds. This is where it gets really weird. I somehow ended up back in like...the lobby or something, because the next thing I knew I was on these red cushions that met in a corner for some weird couch thing (some on one wall, some on another) with my family and my girlfriend's family. Yes, I'm a big pansy and was scared *(&^less by the thought of being put to sleep and my girlfriend is the most comforting person I know, so she came...but anyway. So. I had brought my Rubik's cube for the wait before and handed it off to my girlfriend before I went back. After my teleportation to the red couch thing, I saw it and wanted to see if I could do it in my groggy, completely out-of-it state. I could, interestingly enough, even though I didn't even remember the trip from the recovery room to the couch which happened mere seconds before. Yes, I can actually do a Rubik's cube. I consistently do it at an average of 45 seconds, but I digress. Then, I don't remember standing up OR walking out the doors (there were apparently two...) But I remember walking out to my Dad's work van which we took to get there. I don't remember actually getting in the van at all. I remember very little of the ride home, but I apparently wouldn't stop talking. To make matters worse, I had my cheeks stuffed with gauze and nobody could understand me. Once I got home, I don't remember actually getting out of my Dad's van or walking into our house at all or going downstairs to get on the couch, but I did. Thats the end of all but the random daydreams. Yeah. Pretty weird if I do say so myself.
