So, I'm off to a 12 hour bus ride to Boston from Toronto... for some music thing. And by golly the most I've ever been on is 8. So this will basically kill me. If I return not to codex, read my will. tongue.gif Soooooo I was wondering what I should do/buy to do on the bus? ^^

Board Games?
Handheld Electronics?

Discussssss!

Or you can bring a rubrics cube or you can bring a couple dollars in pennies and see how long you can shoot stuff before getting yelled at

Ever driven from Michigan to Alaska where on some days you experience, and I kid you not, 22 hour day drives? Eight hours seems like a long time to you, but it's almost nothing to me. What I suggest is just bring a DVD player and 12 hours of your favorite movies(24 if you want different movies on the trip back). If you get bored of movies, just listen to you MP4 player for a few hours or play a handheld game. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about thumbsup.gif

What to do? Wow, that might be a hard amount of time to fill...electronics all the way! PSP, cell phone, laptop, things like that wink.gif Of course, a good book is always nice too, along with work you need to get done. Well, have fun with that drive! tongue.gif

I always bring my laptop and work on the countless numbers of papers I have to do for college :-) . Laptop and a cell phone can provide fun internet times hehehe.

As suggested before a good book, and some travel games are always fun. I always bring a dvd player and dvds along with like a PSP.

Good luck, at least you do not have to drive :-)

I live in Boston. Why are you going?
Well, I live there when I'm with my parents, but right now I'm at school. Anyway, just bring sleeping pills. Also, if you want any help with finding fun things to do in Boston just let me know. I can also give you phone #'s of some guys if you want to know where the underground stuff is happening. God, I miss home.

If you have a DS or PSP or even a Game Boy definately take that tongue.gif. If you like reading and you can manage it without motion sickness do that too. Music is a definate and if you're posh enough to have a laptop that plays DVDs or a portable DVD player then those would definately be massive benefits tongue.gif. If you don't happen to own that stuff already then I'd suggest going to a store and getting hold of some of the cheaper eletrical things that play like a 100 games in 1, little black and white pixel games tongue.gif might not look the best but they do pass time. Or did when I was young tongue.gif.

If you're going with mates, just make up stupid games to play with them. I went on a random 3-4 day mini road trip with my friends last week and that's all we did happy.gif

psp would be perfect.. or maybe a DS. Also, just listening to music makes time pass so much faster and you get to just think of stuff... it's good to think smile.gif

Yeah man, just listening to music as you watch the countryside just pass you by is extremely relaxing, and 8 hours won't even seem like enough to satisfy you.

This is so alien to me. I think my friends almost killed eachother over a game of Monopoly tongue.gif
