Nah I don't go tanning, can't be bothered tongue.gif. If I'm desperate I'll use self-tan stuff, but I have to be really desperate because I risk horrid streaks when I do it dry.gif.

Meh, I tend to stay tanned for ages. When I went to Italy in February I still had a tan from Canada in August. And that will probably last me until the middle of the summer now.

I thought this thread was about using old candles to get high... though of course, thinking about it, that would be tallow, not tannin.

Tell me, ye who tan, have you ever seen Final Destination 3?

I've seen the trailer and that bit of it, one of the reasons why I shall never use a sun bed tongue.gif.

Yeah, I go to tanning salons every now and again if I'm about to go on a trip or go back to school, but I prefer the natural tan.

I really need to start going soon because I'm really really pale and I need a tan for my birthday - I'm wearing an all-white outfit, it won't work if I blend in with it lol smile.gif

We got a real nice sunbed a few months ago which I have never used before (my mother uses it like every day though hah), I tried it for the first time a couple of days ago, and burned myself a tad, but now I have a really nice tan happy.gif But it I couldn't stop at that, I find it really hard not to use it the last day or two. Its strange when I look at myself I dont see much difference until I looked at a picture 2 weeks ago, and realised I should really stop tongue.gif

fuck tanning. Since when does a darker skin tone make you more attractive? Media garble, that's all it is.

I refuse to subject myself to ultraviolet radiation and risk skin cancer, and PAY someone to give it to me, all so I can be another drone of the media.

    QFE.

    THANK YOU.

I never have tanned in my life even outside and I never shall. Even being out in the sun too long can really damage me BADLY I'm so pale. But you know what... with my pale skin and dark features it gives me a striking look, kinda victorian and I like that happy.gif Besides my family on my mother's side is extremely prone to skin cancer so it is a bad idea to do anything of the sort. I say love the skin you're in and don't damage it. It just gives you wrinkles and personally I'd like to age well happy.gif

Ha, I know the feeling, the beds can ve very rexlaxing but as everyone has said, we are probably going to get skin cancer.

The part I like a lot is that fact it has completely cleared up the acne I had on my back...that is well worth the freaking $20 a month I spend to tan haha

Don't tan, especially regularly. It's really bad for you, long term, and I'm not talking about just cancer.
There's nothing wrong with tanning once in a while however.
Just don't make it a regular thing.

Yeah, I agree, regularly is bad. I need to cut back, as I have been doing recently.
