I've disabled the neoitems cron job for good and also bumped the server limit from 3 to 3.5 only for today, so downtime should be reduced quite a bit. Backups are still going to be done in about 3.5 hours though.

Ok, well.... it prices a huge database of neopets items (searches the shop wizard on Neopets and stores the prices on our server). Then our programs can use the prices at Neocodex for whatever it's doing (auction sniping, user shop autobuying, pricing someone's shop,etc... and it totally avoids the prospect of getting shop wiz banned because it's on codex and not neopets ).

does it auto search on its own? It never seemed to work when I used it

The NeoItems database never seemed to have what I wanted.
