Hey everybody,

The other day i thought it would be cool to rent the lab ray out to people. What i mean by that was that people would pay you like 10k or so per day to use the lab ray on a pet of their choice, and when it changed to a color they liked, they would recieve the pet. It would be profitible and fun, what does everybody think? Is taht illgal by neopets rules?

Im pretty sureit would be against the rules here, but i guess it would be fine to do it on neopets.
Just getting people to trust you would be the big issue.

I guess I don't understand how this would work.

The lab ray is restricted to one account, right? In that case, it would require you to have the person transfer their pet to the lab ray account, and then transfer it back to their own account.

WAY too risky, tbh.

Not with the one program we have here, i think it was made by alias.
But all you do is log in to both accounts and pretty much hit just one button and the pet is exchanged but that wouldnt work to people on neopets anyway. I am sure they would just report you anyway.

By renting it would you eventually pay it off? because once you have the lab ray you cannot sell it

not mentioning the pet will get free stats increase during his zapping days untill it reaches the desired colour

If you wanna do it on THIS forum, get someone that everyone trusts like a moderator or something to do it. That way trust wont be an issue. We have a Pet Transfer program I believe so it should be easy.

That is a good idea but if someone wanted the pet for their own they would scam you. Then the rate of being scammed would definently go up.

Neopets said that it was against the rules and once they see all the activity on your account they'll freeze you. Plus 10k a day isn't worth it, 70k a week, 280k a month, and 3.3 mil a year. Just snipe a couple codestones if you want to make 10k a day

i make over 200k a day, just as some extra cash. it would have to be more, because the could buy the ray with 2 months of it, and it usually doesent take more then a week to get a nice painted pet. Thanks for everyones help.

yup.. i agreee, 10k is too cheap considering it do gets other stats bonuses too...
in the end, its better to use it on ur pet than his and the buyer can just get himself a set of maps and zapp it by himself

Yeah, by time you get the color you want, you could have bought the lab map and been using it yourself...

maybe for people on a website like ours, but the general public takes forver to earn 630k

I htink it's a great idea! I would do it FREE anyway...My pets are all what i want them to be and I always keep a spot open for a labrat that i just pound when it gets painted cool !! I've accepted tips from people by putting an item in the Trading Post and letting them tip me that way!!! TNT wouldn't know or be able to track it that way. Now if someone was sending you 10k a day through your shop it MIGHT be tracked and i would be hesitant to do it that way. But by using the T/P at the end of transfer i dont see the harm I'm zapping a Red Skeith at the moment and i'll post here when im ready to pound!

10k a day sounds nice but Id rather just buy the whole thing and have unlimited times And also this would be way too risky to many people on neopets... and as Freedy said... theyll just report you
