I am getting a puppy yay. It will be a bulldog but I don't know what to name it.
Please give ideas of what to name it and if you have a dog please give name and type of dog

Dogs are cool. I could have swore we had a huge topic way back when which had this very same debate.

I remember people saying "WELL DOGS CAN RESCUE YOU FROM A BURNING BUILDING IN SOME CASES, CAN A CAT DO THAT TOO?"

I had a puppy german sheppard once It grew up and it was the best dog ever. Then I left to America and when we sold our house the buyers had a female german shepard so we gave him to them, (they were nice people). I still get tears when I think about him. I remember when I was leaving and saying goodbye, he had the saddest expression ever. His name was Rick. I'm so sorry buddy

Actually through my intense watching of Animal Planet I saw this show called Animal Heros and a kitty actually did save this lady from a burning building Take that non-kitty lovers!

Anyways I don't think I'll be able to have cats as Gene's allergic but I do adore them. Maybe we'll spend $1000 and get one of those hypoallergenic science kitties xD But I dunno.. I really like dogs and I guess it's because I've never had much of a cat before but since I was 7 I've had my dog Bits who is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Anyways in the future I'm getting a Shiba Inu and MAYBE a Shar Pei... Those are both adorable. I might be tempted to get another breed though, just not sure what.

You should name your bulldog either Winston or Churchill >_>

Although I love cats and dogs I'm going to have to pick cats. Cats are the best and always top dogs . Although I think my dog has some sort of mental retardation going on with him, although he is very loving. Still cats always top.

I would rather have a cat any day over a dog. Dogs have some distinct nasty smell to them.
I love kitties....I have had many since I was a little girl. They're so cootsie!!!

I'm an animal lover to the core, so I cannot choose between the two. I have 2 cats right now, but when I move into our own home with a fenced in backyard we will certainly be getting a dog. I want an Alaskan Malamute, I have since I was little. I would like two named "Tequila" and "Lime".

I had a stuffed bulldog named Winston when I was little. I think "old man" names are good for bulldogs. XD

a name really depends alot on the personality of the animal and of course what you like. For instance all my animals are named after people in movies.

Get a cat, and then say they're no good They're cute, they look after themselves but love you anyways and they're fun to play with.. they bring you presents too (even though they're usually dead.. the ideas nice!).

Dog. Cats use you for sleep, food and only return favours in dead mice form. Dogs do usualy leave slime trails everywhere though.

I don't have a dog, because we're not allowed in the apartment I live in. I'm not really that much of a cat person though, because I like my pets to be cuddly and friendly
