I think the render doesn't fit too well with the background, because the yellow of the render is completely at odds with the lighting of the background. Maybe also try to blend the render a little more.

First off, it's a -very- good attempt at a signature. First or none, it's good, and you've got potential.

    A few things:

Always, ALWAYS, no matter what art style you're doing,a 1px outer stroke in black or a dark color is absolutely essential. Any digital artwork that isn't transparent looks awkward without a border.

Be generous yet conservative about your color schemes - If you're doing a piece with alot of cold colors, stick with cold colours and stick with one particular cold color (ie, dont go using cynober with dark blue, use dark green and dark blue). This applies to warm colors aswell - in this piece, you've got a hot red background contrasted by a beige-orange render, which totally unbalances the piece. Adjust the background to the color of his scarf, per say, and that will make the piece look -alot- better.

Text is the final layer always. Text should be above all else - in your case, it's behind the render. Also, choosing appropriate fonts for the signature style you use is a must. The colour of said text needs to be either an opposite or an anomaly colour to the pieces scheme. I would use a darkened variant of the scarf's colours.

This is the new version, I took your suggestions and I think it looks better.
    Things I changed:
Made text bigger + put lens flair behind it to put more emphasis on it
Changed background to color of jacket
Changed text color to color of scarf
And made a outer layer of picture

Any more comments would be much appreciated, I really like doing this and I want to get better ^^
