Believe it or not, Melinda Doolittle was voted off. Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks are the final two. I really thought she was gonna win too. Oh well, My hopes are now that Jordin wins.

i thyink it was honestly because she didn;t sing anything exciting yesterday. both blake and jordin tried to get the crowd off of their feet. although melinda is a very good singer im not even sure she should be on the show anyways because she is already a professional singer albeit a backup. however, she is very good and she will still get to go on tour with all of them. but thanks for answering my question

nah blake is the better performer of the two. thats easy to see if you watched the final episodes. but jordin has the better voice. melinda had a good voice but i don;t think sh should have won. she is already a professional singer so she shouldn't have been in the show in the first place

I don't know if that's one of the reasons she won(she just has an incredible voice overall), but I see what you're saying. Like with Sanjaya and that crying girl. Because of that he wasn't even in the bottom 3 for about 2 or 3 weeks! And last year with Kelly Pickler. She performed a song and knew the judges didn't like it so she said "I'm so sorry I butchered that song!". Because of that, she was safe for the week(she went the next week though). This also works for Antonella Barba and those internet pics.

either way, my wife and i are happy that Blake didn't win (even though Blake was sooooo much more original, and awesomer... (that's right)).

because at least this way, he won't have crappy management, and he can get a *REAL* contract and be successful on his own terms
