I can't believe no one has said it yet, but I'm most scared to die in my sleep.

I agree with Black Flame, that would actually be a way I wouldn't mind going. I can imagine it actually being pretty bad for the people I leave behind, but for me...I wouldn't mind.

I don't know why but I was always afraid of dieing in my sleep when I was a little kid. It took me a couple of months to get over it though.

My US history teacher showed us the JFK vid last week. And I would have to say that that would be the worst way to die. lol It really freaked me out for a while.

What are you talking about? He probably never heard the shot that hit him! Its quick, and with no brain you cannot sense pain o.o

Drowning or some other asphyxiation, starvation, or being tortured.

Drowning, simply becuase any kind of loss of control of a situation that i know is bad. This is my worst fear, i would rather have cancer or any number of other things then this.

I nearly drowned.

I was at my holiday house, one day I was at the beach and this beach is the local beach not the main beach (with flags & lifegaurds)

Anyways, I got stuck in a rip and it was pulling me out and there was a man with his kid and it was pulling his kid, He grabbed his kid and started making his way in.

I was like what the.. and it kept pulling me in and then I said "HELP"
He turned to me and then this where the crappy part happens.

Wave 1: I got hit by a huge wave while being sucked out, once it hit me it shot me right under and I did about 3 flips.

Wave 2: I just got back up for breath and about 1 second later another wave hit me, This one made me do about 1 flip and then I shot me self back up.

Wave 3: Now this time when I shot myself back up I didnt get to breath as another wave hit me, And flipped me about 4 times and I got a really weird feeling and a huge flash and I saw my family running through my eyes and thats when I said to my self "I'm not dieing"

Wave 4: I got back up and breathed and Wave hit me but it was a weak wave didn't make me go under very much.

Then I got the mans hand and he pulled me in, I was like thank you and I was crying and everything, This was Christmas 2005.

And I had a body board with me strapped on my arm, when the wave hit that it ripped the strap of and took of chunks of skin.

Being tortured, or a slow, painful death... like spaced over an hour... or something... Anything else, you can get prescriptions for, and abuse them My other fear is that I'll die old... like... not dying young and happy Because I don't want to get old and just wait to die... Tackle it head on, don't wait for it to come to you. Just like in sports.

I'm not naive enough to think that I don't fear death, but I don't consciously fear it.

I am afraid of what happens after I'm dead though. Not for me, but for the memory of me on earth. I'd hate for people to remember me as something I'm not. Speaker for The Dead really spoke to me that way (great book if you've not read it) and I want someone to speak for me after I die.

Of course, this could all be shit. I could turn 45 one day and decide I really don't like spiders, or that I really do like life. We can't really know until we experience it, right?

Mmm..... I don't really -fear- death. Life sucks. I'm a depressed emo. I don't care if I die. I know, more than likely, I wouldn't be tortured or anything movie-like like that. BUT I wouldn't WANT to die that way. Everyone is saying dying of starvation. Most of the time, people who die from starvation actually die from organ failures like heart failure and stuff like that from lack of foods.

I've come close to dying from suffocation.... I got this weird feeling that my body was floating and I was like, spinning on my bed. WEIRD, I tell you. But of course, before dying in any way, the body goes into survival mode and will literally KILL someone if they are trying to kill you. Like if someone is trying to suffocate or drown someone... yeah. But anyways....

If I got cancer I think I would just.... let it take its course. I wouldn't go through all the bullshit to try to stay alive. In THIS world? Bah. Ah yes... my response has been negative enough hahha.

&& I have never said the dying while asleep thing... EVERYONE says that like in the MySpace surveys... "I want to die old and peacefully in my sleep" Hm. OLD? No thanks.

I like the way you think... The way I want to die is like someone drops their kid from the roof top and I jump and save it's life and end up dieing saving it. Or like Get shot while reading the bible in the ghetto.
