On February 2, 2007, Dan Aykroyd confirmed Ghostbusters III was still in development as an all-computer-generated feature film

Its not going to happen. Its been in development since 1998. Come on lol. They wouldn't even let the GB game come out.

The rights to produce a new GB game have been bought from sony by universal and is in development.

I wish they would let some films just stay as they are, rather than trying to make money out of them 20 years after the last one came out.

well from what i knew, the script was written only a few years after Ghostbusters 2, only prob was that Dan Akroyd was the only one who wanted to do it. i recently saw a clip where he was on a german tv show talking about the GBIII game that was supposedly going to be released soon-ish.

i would've loved for them to make the 3rd one... about 7 years ago or so. now they're kinda old. but you know the effects would be great!

oddly enough, before even reading this thread i watched Ghostbusters I & II last night! XD
