Unplug your modem for 5 minutes. Replug it back in.

I've heard this only work with DSL modems....is that true?
I use a cable modem.

i was ip banned earlier this week and I did the unplug for 5 mins and it worked.. I use verizon dsl and also a router.
also you can use a free trial for hide my ip program

I tried this one out and it worked really well when i was ip banned until i figured out how to change my ip again. I think the full program is like 30 bucks
