Is tombola still giving out codestones? Inoticed the codestrones have inflated and it seems like a long time since i've won one. I've gotten several "winner" messages on tombola but I always get the crap food. Usually when they give the double prize they stick a faerie or codestone in there. Has this been going on with anybody else?

It's been quite some time since i remember getting a codestone and i've gotten many "you are a winner!" without a codestone on tombola

I haven't gotten a codestone in quite some time now either. I have in fact gotten bottled faeries though I have to admit.

Well about a month ago I was still getting codestones regularly. I stopped doing my dailies though due to laziness.

So unless they changed things within the past month, then no they're still handing out codestones.

since there is a war coming can I expect the codestone to inflate even higher once it hits? If so would it be better to just stock pile them until the war comes about?

Warlord, as for the codestones inflating, it's because it's Summer now (American public school kids just got out) so they are all playing more. That's honestly the only thing I could find to explain it.

Lately, neopet plots have been involved battledome fights one way or another. There may not be a full-on war coming, but the next plot will most likely have some sort of battledome fighting.

They need a full on war, they haven't had one since maraqua which was way back in 2005 now I think.

The lost island plot or whatever it is has currently had a few bd challengers in it. Speculation of an upcoming war drove people to buy many codestones, which inflated the price. these codestones have not yet been rereleased into the market, so the price has not changed. However, at the end of this plot, or after confirmation of no war, all the codestones will be sold back into the market, creatting a price drop in codestones. This would be a good time to invest in them.

The thing is, speculation about wars are really quite stupid. TNT have said they won't be doing full-blown wars again, they prefer to mix it up, with only a small part to it being bdome based to be fair to people who don't have strong pets.

I do not have a very stong pet so I was only able to do the first battle in the last plot lol
