What do you offer that Bulbagarden or Serebii or the countless other Pokemon forums do not?

I have a guy making the forums a friend code exchange mod.
On the other forums, people exchange friend codes by spamming up the forums and posting their code everywhere.
With the mod, which will be ready next week, you send a friend code request to someone. They can either accept or deny the request. If they except, you guys then get eachother's codes. There is also a page that shows all the codes you have exchanged with people.

Fairly cool...
But then, I don't really see much problem with a friend code thread... seems like an overcomplication, to me.
Good luck anyway though, it's good that you've tried to come up with a unique hook.

The same guy is also making a mod that is for setting up trades.
A user goes through a list and selects all the pokemon that he has caught. He then goes through a list and selects all the pokemon that are on his wish list.
Say a user wants a Hoho. He can type "hoho" into the trade search. It will show the results of every trainer who has a hoho. He can then see if he has a pokemon that is on their wishlist. If he does, he can click a "make trade" button, and it will send the user a PM says that so-and-so wants to trade his diglet for your hoho.
