The estimated value of neopets.com is: $2,132,888
This value is represents the approximate value of the website entered. Of course, this value does NOT include the worth of the company behind the website but rather is an estimated value of the website itself. Some of these valuation factors include: PageRank, traffic, backlinks, age of the domain, directory listings, and other items not shown in the summary above.

I surf around and see a website that estimate how much your website worth and typed in neopets.com and there go the result.

2 mil is a big rip off for such money generator website like neopets. xD

and FYI :

Surely Neopets.com has to be worth more than that....even for the site just on its own. I would be quite interested to know how much money they make from the products they sell as none of it sold in the UK. Makes me wonder if it the overall company is not worth as much as it may seem.

Just how big is Neopets in the US? I dont think I have ever met another person in the UK who plays lol, except for those on Codex (who I have not actually met) xD

I could surely use $2.1 mil. But really it's an underestimate. They've got to be more than that.

I personally think maybe $1.50 or $2.00 at the most.
    You may be over estimating.

Those website value generators use a very limited, and very inaccurate set of criteria to calculate worth. Let's put it this way. Neopets was bought by Viacom in 2005 for $160 million (Viacom likes to lowball the shit out of people, especially people like TNT who don't understand business concepts). With the introduction of NeoCash, Trading Cards, IRL Plushies, they have probably made $3-400 million over the past few years.

In addition, based on a reputable source, Neopets, conservatively, makes around 30 million per year.

HOLY HELL! That is insane!! They should seriously let the cheaters go if they are making that much! Because once the cheaters get what they want they eventually get into the NC.

Oh wow, 30 million per year?! That's freaking amazing! I know Neopets is worth a lot, seeing how they've introduced a bunch of things over the years and become so commercialized, but to make 30 million a year is amazing! I guess that's what will keep their staffs working and drawing and all too. I wish I was a programmer for Neopets..

Yea... 2 mil is way too low... maybe because they don't estimate what people buy for neopets?
