So, while I was at my neighbors and I can't seem to set up a proxy, I created an account using my neighbor's Internet IP but after a long time of no Internet, I came home to login but it would state a Bad Password as it would for others. Has this happened to anyone else?

No, I cleared cookies and everything. And I'm sure a 40 year old man wouldn't want a newbie account. ._. Or an account, at that. I mean, I even checked my email and sent my password again and no luck.

You are probably still IP banned.

But when I try to create a new account, whatever I click on (the 'Check Availability' or 'Next') it takes me to the front page. I tried it on IE and Firefox but I don't know what's wrong? Has this happened to anyone else?

you will need to change your ip address.
see this very helpful post again.

Thank you. I'll try that tutorial again on this WORKING computer. xD But is there a time limit where they stop your IP ban? If so, do you know how long?

Try restarting your comp or closing browser. That actually happened to me a while back because I got banned from 5 accounts that 1 minute. That is probably the problem if you have gotten banned recently. I'm pretty sure neopets makes a new account time or something.

Restarting doesn't help. Although I tried using hidemyass.com and it worked. tongue.gif I can only login though as anon, but I would still like to know how long these IP bans are.

Not true. I've been IP banned a lot. They last a few months usually.

Longest one I have had was almost a year.

I'm gunna do the unplugged router tonight, see if that works smile.gif I did it for 10min before without any success, but that might not be long enough. We'll see, a new IP would kick ass for me.

When I did it, I unplugged my router, and my modem, took all the cords out from the computer and waited 10 or 20 mins and it worked fine for me, I use verizon.
