Worth what? If its free it's worth it.
Then again it doesn't include MS Word and comes installed with Norton....no laptop at all may actually be better.

I saw the word "Intel" and I knew.

No, it is not worth $20.

    No its not worth it.
You can build a better desktop for $1,200 with a quad core processor and a DX10 video card, and then buy a laptop for like $400.
That comes out to almost half of that. Laptops suck for games anyway, you cant modify them and they get really hot.
They should be used for school and work, as a mobile computer.

No. Way overpaying and imo if you're getting a high end card like a 7950 gtx you should get something direct x 10 compatible like an 8800 gts. Plus that processor isn't a conroe, you want a conroe if you're going intel. And for 2.8k your hd should be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bigger then 120 gigs. Get a desktop which would be faster/cheaper?

Seriously - For that price you can get a quad core/8800gtx/2tb of diskspace/shitload of other nice specs

Not a good idea. What will you be using this computer for? Just reading the posts above mine, you can probably tell what to do... tongue.gif

I wouldn't go for it. I bought a laptop almost a year ago for the same kind of price, and it has similar specs to what you're quoting graphics card/screen/os/processor-wise. But I got a 150gig hard drive, a gig of ram and free Norton for a year. You can find a better deal out there.

Doesn't seem worth it to me, you could probably build a 3x faster computer with the money you have there. (If you have the experience xD)
