Ditto. It's pretty unlikely that jsut 1 planet out of all the universe has some intelligent life. But at the same time... why the flip would they come to Earth? XD If they have got little space ships that can travel between galaxies then obviously they have better toys than we do.

Right behind you there!!!!

Maybe they thought they were the only intelligent life out there, and decided to look for other intelligent life?

Why not? They're just exploring probably. I mean, what makes them any smarter or dumber than us? For all we know, they were given ships from another alien race and randomly found us. I believe there are aliens, but they're usually assumed to be things they most likely aren't. The truth is, we'll never really understand until we communicate with them. tongue.gif

The fact that they can get here? The nearest star is like 4 or 5 light years away..

Yeah, but like I said, it's random chance. Half of the people that own computers don't even know how they work. smile.gif

Do you have to be a genius to be an inventor even? If blowing something up in a confined space propels an object, couldn't you apply that knowledge without knowing why it causes that effect? Like I said, too much is assumed. smile.gif They may or may not be incredibly intelligent.

Well, if aliens were here, they are more intelligent or advanced as a civilisation than we are. If they were aliens, I wonder what they made of drunken chavs?

Well, why do scientist study this or that? It's all about learning and knowing what goes on around you, so maybe they are studying us as we study animals. Or better yet, they may be studying us to learn more about their history.

Well, considering that alien life forms could be vastly or inferiorly intelligent to us, it is kind of possible ya know? They may be so intelligent as to have found a way to travel through galaxies...

When my DAD worked night shifts in the RAF, SHE used to have to take phone calls and take notes from people who thought they'd seen aliens.

Sorry, although it is possible there is other life in the Universe, it would not be anywhere near Earth. Earth and our solarsystem are literally on the outskirts of the milkyway (which is probably why our planet has lasted so long - for those who don't know the center of the milkyway galaxy is a black hole). We are literally an isolated form of life.

There is life in other places because humans aren't the firsts. I am not sure about the ufo story since usually ufos prefer not to be seen probablt since the military is harsh so it could have been light reflecting off of a surface or something.

The aliens actually have the internet, and are reading up on human history. They are going to help us move into the 4th dimensional world in 2012. We have got five years to live as we are in this form. The alien appearances will be mislead by the media and they will be seen as harmful and not helpful. The Mayan calender ends in 2012, and so does 3d life.
