Everything like this is staged. I want him to do it to me. Then I will believe. xD

The Russian Roulette was amazing, you can watch it here
I once saw a show where he went to a race track and placed a bet. He lost but went over to claim the money that he would of won if the horse had won it's race. He said something to the woman at the counter and walked off with the winnings. He went back to the woman and asked why she gave him the money and she said "because you won"....but she didn't even look at the ticket....it was just the way he said it xD.

I don't LOVE to think anything is fake. I would find it amazing were it real. But I accept nothing on simple faith. Logic and science rule my world. Therefor, they must be fake and staged, or he has ESP and his brain needs to be dissected and better understood so that we can unlock this for all human beings.

I'm sorry, I just hate when people come and ruin my fun topics with their nonsense, it does get irritating after awhile.
it's ridiculous to believe that someone can spot on guess the amount of money in your pocket, regardless of whatever magical trickery you think they're pulling. that among all of the other stunts in the 5 clip episode, it's really hard to believe that the majority of the scenes are real.

and the mall one, and the women, and the conductor
i don't doubt his skills, i'm sure he's very good at persuasion but this is certainly fabricated, and unfortunately after all of chris angel's BS most people will have disbelief until they see it firsthand.
not sure if this applies to the randi challenge, but if it does - taking up on that would also be a way to convince me.

Tags are (well were) screwed up then. I first noticed it when Raui had just Retired as his tag on one page and both Retired and Programmer on another but wasn't completely sure

I'm trying to find the one where he explains it at the end......ok got it. It's long but if you have the time then please watch. It will make a 'believer' out of you
is part one
http://www.youtube.c...4...ted&search= is part two
it's about 20 minutes long in total and I guess really you needed to have see the rest of the show because when he starts showing the clips of him saying random things that you didn't even notice it really freaks you out.

while i wasn't speaking of that one (i meant the one where he used his psybeams to put the music into the conductor, and then from the conductor to the orchestra) it's *possible*, but it's assumed that Darren whatever his name is has no experienced with orchestra or conducting and that the list truly was 3 pages long.

okay lets say she really did "tear around influential" (which imo is complete bs, she wasnt looking at the words as she ripped them, he told her to rip it in half.) how did she know to pick the 7th one?
how did she know the lock #s?
pathetic

Well put
There is no way that whole show was staged. There were too many factors that could change and cause the outcome to be different from what Derren Brown wanted. The reason he is so popular is because he shows people how he does things so they know it is real.

He was probably distracting them so they wouldn't realize what he's paying with.
They're so used to accepting cash, that the paper seemed like any other cash.
The rest I didn't believe

For example, I was with my friends and we play the "guess what animal that person looks like" and we were going around looking for people to guess. Before we even saw anybody, I just said "You know what are cool? Lions. Lions are cool"
K, so now he was thinking of lions. So we saw somebody, and I was like, "What do they look like?" He said a lion. lol. I've done that more than once with more than one person, and they always say what I said earlier :]

indeed, there would be loads of factors and assuming the show was real it could be ruined instantly had she picked the wrong word/page/number.
so, are either of you going to answer my question of how she "tore around influential" without looking? how she got the other lock numbers? how she knew to pick the 7th piece of paper?
there are far too many factors and numbers involved (as well as ones that he never mentioned!) for it to be believable that they were all in everyone's head.

Of course
PS. When you change your name so people won't associate you with who you were before, it's usually a good idea to change avatar, too.

i have to say if it was staged... the conductor dude, the lady with the expensive purse but only carried 5 dollars and the guy with the euros musta been really good actors xD
he has many episodes too not just this one so if he stages all of them it's gotta be super expensive too
