Sadly, I lead a rather pathetic unproductive life and I've just finished Ouran High School Host Club. Therefore, I'm in need of another anime to fill in the oodles of time I have on my hand. I don't really care what you guys suggest. I just don't want it to be an extremely long anime [my definition of long is 50+ episodes].

Right now, I'm thinking of pursuing RahXephon, Honey and Clover, or Rozen Maiden. If you guys have opinions on that, prease share. O:

Suggest away!

Bleach ftw. dry.gif Naruto has way too many crappy fillers. Not to mention that they talk throughout most of the episodes that aren't fillers. It gets very frustrating after a while.

Bleach is currently at 135 episodes.

Oh man, this is where you guys find out I'm an animu fanatic.

Seen Naruto up to episode 12389182. Tried to survive through the fillers, didn't. Lost interest.

Bleach, I never really got into, but I probably didn't probe it far enough. I hear it's deliciously addicting, though. I might check it out later.

I've started RahXephon. It's sorta like Evangelion, but I don't want to compare the two, since I hear comparing it will ruin your experience.

Seeing One Piece is my favourite, it always good to recommend other XD. Once you get over the fact that there gonna be quite a fair bit of DBZ style(each time you fight there a new stronger guy coincidentally). After that you will love One Piece(hopefully)

    Thats true.

Well here are some animes that find that I found enjoyable and I think that you might enjoy them as well.

    Bleach
    Cowboy Bebop
    Darker than Black
    Death Note
    Digimon
    Dragon Ball z
    Full metal Alchemist
    Ghost In The Shell
    Gundam Wing
    Hellsing Ultimate
    Jubei Chan
    Neon Genesis
    One Piece
    Outlaw Star
    Pokemon
    Steel Angel
    Yu-Gi-Oh

Try to find anything under Miyazaki, All his animes are good fun and have interesting story plotlines.

However I like Fooly Cooly its kind of hard to explain (which is why it's good). On the surface, it's about this kid whose mundane life is interupted by a crazy girl from outer-space named Haruko, and has to fight with her to destroy invading robots...or something. I actually understand very little of the plot, but that's why it's good (apparently the manga is much easier to understand). But it's only 6 episodes long, so it'll take you like 2 1/2-3 hours at most to watch the entire series. The whole thing seems to be a veiled metaphor (particularly the changes the main character Naota undergoes, like growing horns when he gets hit/excited, etc.) for puberty and the beginnings of sexual realization. I've watched the series like 3 times, still don't understand everything. =P

But here's the wiki for it anyway, in case you're ever interested(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fooly_Cooly). I think you can probably just watch it on veoh.com or other sites of that sort if it seems like it'll interest you. And like I mentioned before, The Pillows did the soundtrack for the series, which is pretty killer (listen to The Pillows if you ever get into J-rock, or just in general. I don't watch anime or listen to Japanese music really, but I do love The Pillows).

Good Luck In Your Search For Animes

DEFINITELY watch One Piece, might seem bit dumb in the beginning but its one of the best animes i've ever seen. And ive seen a LOT.
    Also check out:
    Air Gear
    Trigun
    Chobits
    Full Metal Alchemist
    Inuyasha
    Kaze no Stigma

About naruto and bleach... Naruto would be very good, but there are way too long moments of staring each other and pointing out the obvious. Bleach is good, but lately there have been idiotic "jokes" to waste time (those lil hollows try to be funny or smth).

EDIT: I totally forgot Gantz.. Mabe you shouldnt watch if you're young.. very bloody and bit nudity.
