But yeah, I don't like it

Why? 'Cause I've never been a fan of cars.. much less cars that go around a track for hours and hours. Not my thing.

My dad worked for Nascar for six and a half years, so I'm biased, but no, it doesn't suck. It's big among rednecks because its ordinary people who race, in paticular, ordinary Southerners.

For me, it is mostly not because of the actual RACING that is unappealing. I mean, I wouldn't mind watching it from a viewing box or something (Probably gonna do that with my brother in-law) except being surrounded by a bunch of drunken, sweaty rednecks in 100 degree weather breathing in fumes? THAT is the biggest turnoff =S

I have been to some local races and it was exactly that.

Its alright, I have a few friends that love it, so my opinion is kinda neutral.
