After mom decided to rip out the really old crappy carpet from my room i was without internet for two days and now i'm glad to be back on i guess

Now I have really nice wood floors in my room

so what do you like carpet or wood floor?

I like hard-surfaced floors because I've had lots of stuff spill on my floor, and liquids can be an utter pain to get out of carpets. How'd you enjoy your internet free period?

it was weird i guess... though since i haven't been signing on to aim at all lately it wasnt too bad, i used to be an aim freak now i hate it lol

i think it's more weird getting used to no carpet i like the wooden floor i think it's just hard to fall on

I like hardwood, looks much better and it doesn't hurt if you spill

Well if you tip something over in a glass on carpet, the liquid is harder to clean up but the glass stays intact most of the time. If you tip something over in a glass on hardwood, the liquid is easier to clean up but the glass will most likely break somehow. For that reason, I'm neutral

mom just hated our carpet since it 'sheds' alot and one day she ripped off part of it and found that we have really nice wooden floors underneath and my mom's like 'huh what a waste' and then she started ripping all the carpet out

Just wear socks I fell off my stairs a few weeks ago and got a big bruse on my elbow and my ass.

I'd rather have carpet in my room, but hardwood floor in the kitchen or lounge areas.

i do miss my carpet a bit only cuz it's not so hard to fall on but otherwise it was really crappy carpet
