i dunno where you live and how much money you spend on yourself but here you can get some pretty nice stuff for about a hundred. (90 whatevahz)
And i wasnt reffering to shoes. CLOTHES. As in shorts and shirts and jeans and stuff. The most youd pay here for each is fourty. Not half a shoe.

Clothes would be the smart choice, considering most of my clothes is too big for me now.

At the time, I didn't have online banking so I was making daily visits to the AMT.

Ha thats not true. People only pay so much for clothes and stuff because of the flashy "Abercrombie" or "American Eagle". Same goes for shoes. Doesn't make it any different.

ok... lets say u got a pair of converse all stars and a pair of D&G shoes, within 3 weeks the converse will have either rips, the sole comming off, or other minor flaws. i guarantee you that the D&Gs will look brand new if properly cleaned
they're expensive for a good reason, Brand= quality

Most brand shoes are as shitty as any other shoe. Shoes will last a long while so long as you aren't being retarded. I had a pair of running shoes last me over a year. They cost 40$, I live in Canada and I always used them in the snow. I don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on D&G's (whatever they are), if I was going to spend loads on shoes, I'd buy a nice pair of winter boots to last me years.

I have seen people buying pairs for treble the price and last quarter of the time, so price doesnt always mean quality.
and as for what to spend the money on, i would wait until you need it. You might find something breaks and you dont have money to replace it later on if you just waste your money now on something you dont really need. If you save it, you can wait until you really need it. Which you probably will need it one day.
