Hooray, Apple insiders have leaked some info on the 6G iPod! It's been dubbed as a 'full screen' iPod so I'm guessing it'd gonna be an iPhone style... And the new Nano has been leaked online already and hasn't gone down well... The image below is real but (obviously) altered...


There's gonna be a new Shuffle too if anybody cares...

oh well way to clarify that..... cause i don't know but when people are talking about ipods and i see a 6g i don't really think of 6th generation... but rather 6gigs... ok well that settles that then... anyone know just how much i'll be able to hold by any chance?

Yeah what Rambo said... And I agree the Nano looks ungodly... But that's an almost precise mock up of the original leaked image, Gizmodo made that one based on the identical image leaked from Apple which was then taken down...

All Ipods are the same, as long as it plays music and holds my songs, I don't give a shit. I'll stick with my 4GB Nano and good eye sight which I'll keep from not having to squint at 1/4 inch screen.

I'm an Apple fan boy... Have to admit it. I use them all the time at college and have had both of the last 2 major iPods, got a Mac Mini behind me (which is for sale if anyone wants to buy it) and a PowerMac downstairs...

But that is one sexy beast though...

I agree with Frizzle. They are all the same pretty much.

The only real difference is an unneccesary memory upgrade and the price. (The look as well but that isnt always a good thing)

The new nano looks like crap. It's way too small and much squarer. The new iPod looks pretty cool though, the full-screen capability is definately an upgrade.

I love my 30GB iPod Video. I've got like, 10GB of music and a few gigs of video on there and it's still not full.

I don't think I'll need an upgrade for a looong while.

1.66gHz dual core Intel processor, 512mb ram, 80gb hard disk and superdrive (from memory)

Nothing's been confirmed by Apple yet so I dunno what the price is going to be like or the spec. But I'd guess at 30gb and 80gb models like current and the same price, Apple always tend to keep the same price when they redo iPods then lower the price after a year or so.

It's not actually the 100% real image. What happened was the real image was leaked to a site. The site then was forced to take it down by apple, however they did a recreation based on the original, so what your looking at is the recreation (actually it's been altered again).
