When it comes time for you to get a job, what are you going to do about mandatory drug tests? At least in the US, most jobs from grocery store cashier up to software engineer require a drug test.

Aside from that, there are also post-incident drug tests. A lot of places require that if you have a work related accident you have to get a drug test within 24 hours.
Also keep the following in mind. There are multiple drug testing methods and you don't know which one they'll use until you get there.

Except if you get there and they test your hair or swab your mouth you're boned.

hair testing is very extreme, usually used only on people who have had previous drug incidents and for those who are on probation for drug use.

it really depends on the place that the job you apply for uses.
i was recently drug tested for my volunteer work at the YMCA, and at the center i got tested at i was told to urinate cup alone in a room...completely unsupervised. i was luckily not on any drugs at the time, however if i wanted to fudge the results i would have no problem doing so.

true story for my cousin.
I know it's harsh of me to say, but I got such a funny image of some dude saying "See, I'm totaly clean" and getting a response like "Yes you are sir. So, when's it due?"
Must have been well guttin though.
You only really get tested here if you're in the army tbh.

Wouldn't that just be uncomfortable?
I remember they did a random drug test for all the troops going to Kandahar. They ended up having to wave on anyone testing positive on marijuana because over 60% had tested positive

tetiel, i believe you're thinking of the hair test, that usually can reveal drug use 3months before the sample is taken

I've had a few of those. I cut down on use. Not too hard.

I think the drugs grow into the hair shaft so the longer the hair the longer back they can see?
And after googling i found there are lawsuits pertaining to hair testing results because ethnic groups have different hair growing structures, which can lead to false positives being found

Believe it or not... they do. My mother had to get one and she was the Director of a National Lab and also had to do a big questionare about drugs as part of her bit to get security clearance. Plus at the company I worked at everyone had to get a drug test - everyone.
