I've heard a lot about road runner as well. Sadly, it's not offered in my area or I would switch and test it out. I switched from SBC to comcast...SBC was just retarded ... everytime it rained, we lost internet for days at a time. In the beginning with comcast, everything was good but recently our internet has been dropping out for 30 seconds at random. It's quite annoying .

Comcast commercials suck too How about Quest? It probably sucks but its worth a try "Stop playing with comcast, get Quest !"

I have Verizon FIOS at home and my download is usually over 30,000 kb/s.
FIOS > Roadrunner.
FIOS > Roadrunner.

I swear they have me capped at a lower rate than what my parents pay for I don't care though, as long as my gaming doesn't lag and my downloads don't take forever.
Come live in Australia.
I'm on 1.1 doxis(sp?) cable, we have 8mbps download, 128k upload and a 12gb usage cap monthly.
After exceeding the cap, we get put on 64k internet for the remainder of the month.

well this was my first one...
seems fishy tho considering when i did it again less than 2min later i got this
GOOD LORD!!!!! WTF IS UP WITH THAT???? cookies? lol
and a few min later i got this
so my conclusion is that my DL rate is somewhere betwwn 85mb/s and 500kb/s ... no way is that right. when i DL stuff off of other sites im lucky if i get 25kb/s
i give up lol. a few min later i got 29000 then i got 1000 then 600... for DL rates while the uplaod remained arround 360
